- Aire directed by Javier Loarte (Spain).
One morning in March, Madrid was brutally attacked by terrorism. That same morning, one nine-year-old girl faces death for her first time. (Spanish. English subtitles.) (Rated R)

- The Cab directed by Khallid Shabazz (Burbank, CA).
A female passenger on her way to the hospital struggles to make peace with her devastating cancer diagnosis and her impending surgery. This ride is unlike any she has had or will have ever again and reignites her desire and determination to live. (Rated R)

- Jackpot! directed by Tony Ducret (New York, NY).
Shontae is smart, attractive, and determined to live the good life. She senses a rare opportunity when she begins a physical relationship with an NBA player. However, Shontae’s plan to lure the athlete into a long-term relationship brings her a nightmarish result. (Rated R)

- Moth To A Flame directed by Rosalyn Coleman (New York, NY).
On a seemingly innocent evening with his ex-wife Audrey, Xavier’s visit turns out to be just the opposite. Audrey is HIV positive and dealing with it, Xavier having been diagnosed with HIV six months previous is in deep denial, recklessly spreading the disease. Audrey uncovers the reason for Xavier’s visit; he’s there to steal her HIV medication. Believing he has been handed a death sentence, Xavier is not ready to hear the truth about life with HIV, he storms back out into the world full of rage and fear. Since Xavier is not ready to share the truth about himself, Audrey must. (Rated R)

- Tequila Sunrise directed by Lamont Pierre (Fernandina Beach, AL).
A lonely and recently married truck driver contemplates leaving his family behind after encountering a beautiful stranger on the road. (Rated R)

- The Bedroom Philosopher directed by Craig Melville (Ultimo, NSW, Australia).
Nothcote (So Hungover) is a comedic music video that pokes fun at the Melbourne Hipster scene. The Song is performed by The Bedroom Philosopher. (Rated PG)

The mission of the Urban Mediamakers  Association is to promote and support a strong diverse independent media arts community in metro-Atlanta emphasizing the work of African, Asian and Latin descent creatives. Our goal is to be a main player in the continuous movement to attain diversity in media by providing individuals with assistance with development, production, post-production, financing and distribution of independent media -- animation, film, music, print, television and video.

A 501(c)(3), tax exempt, not-for-profit, charitable organization, the Urban Mediamakers Association brings talented and aspiring creative individuals together. Guided by past wisdom and reflecting the new generation of mediamaking, we are dedicated to thinking out of the traditional box. We depend on powers beyond ourselves to provide opportunities and open doors in all facets of our lives.

Through our Young Urban Mediamakers (YUMs) program, we are partnering media professionals with youth ages 12-19 to encourage, inspire and educate them in all areas of media.
